Sinopsis

El libro Desarrollo emocional en la primera infancia: de la teoría a la práctica tiene como objetivo ofrecer una comprensión integral y actualizada del desarrollo emocional en los primeros años de vida, articulando fundamentos teóricos con estrategias prácticas que favorezcan el acompañamiento respetuoso y efectivo del niño en su proceso de maduración afectiva. A través de una metodología basada en la revisión bibliográfica, se analizan y sistematizan aportes de la psicología, la neurociencia, la educación y otras disciplinas afines, con énfasis en evidencias científicas recientes y enfoques reconocidos internacionalmente.
La obra presenta una visión amplia del desarrollo emocional, considerando tanto su base biológica como el papel fundamental del entorno, las experiencias tempranas, las interacciones con los cuidadores y el contexto sociocultural. Se destacan las principales teorías del desarrollo emocional, sin centrarse exclusivamente en una corriente, lo que permite una lectura plural y enriquecedora. Asimismo, se exploran los factores que influyen en este proceso, los hitos esperados durante la primera infancia, y los métodos de evaluación que permiten identificar tanto avances como posibles dificultades emocionales.
En su dimensión práctica, el libro ofrece orientaciones para padres, docentes y profesionales, proponiendo herramientas concretas como juegos, estrategias de crianza, técnicas de relajación y programas de intervención, aplicables en el hogar, la escuela y la comunidad. En suma, esta obra busca promover una comprensión crítica y empática del desarrollo emocional infantil, contribuyendo al diseño de entornos que favorezcan el bienestar emocional desde los primeros años de vida.
